Communication and Information Services (CIS) is an internal services department of the City of Dallas. CIS has four divisions, including:

Strategic Technology Management
William Finch, Deputy Chief Information Officer

Responsibilities include portfolio management of the City Council's five Key Focus Areas and the project management office.

Business Management Services
Erin Schwie Langston, Assistant Director

Network Management Services
Donald K. Bailey, Assistant Director

Responsibilities include mobile communications installation and network services, 9-1-1/ 3-1-1 infrastructure support, security, disaster recovery, and desktop and server support.

Responsibilities include programming, data processing, web support, and quality assurance.
