What should I expect when requesting a court date (Pre-Trial Hearings)?
What should I expect at Administrative Hearing Court?
The initial hearing/court date is on the citation. If the citizen is unable to appear or did not appear, they may file a motion/letter within 30 day from initial hearing to:
Attention: Administrative Hearing Officer Court
2014 Main Room 105, Dallas TX 75201
The documents are sent for recommendation; a Judge will approve/deny the request, and then a ruling will be mailed back to the citizen at the address provided.
I missed my court date. What are my options?
You have the following options available: 1) You may pay the fine; 2) you may post a cash bond usually for the amount of the fine, and request the case be reset for trial, or 3) you can hire an attorney.
Do I have to pay for parking at 2014 Main Street?
Yes, there is paid parking provided by independent owners not affiliated with the City of Dallas. See the following link for reference: (Parking Map)
The Dallas Police Department says I may bring my insurance card to have my Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (FMFR) citation dismissed. Is that correct?
This type of citation may be dismissed by a Judge and is not handled at the window. You must provide the Prosecutor the declaration page of your insurance policy through Proof or Plea Court or by mail. An Insurance card is not sufficient.

If I have a warrant, will I get arrested when I pay in person?
