Fair Housing Home

April is Fair Housing Month!  In 1968, the Fair Housing Act changed the landscape of housing in America. This month, we recognize its vital role in prohibiting housing discrimination. Whether you are a long-time resident or new to the area, we invite you to join us in working toward a more equitable Dallas. Click here to see upcoming events!

Our division supports city leadership and staff through education and training in the identification and elimination of systemic barriers to fair and just distribution of resources, access to services, opportunity, and proper investigation of housing discrimination complaints.

If you suspect housing discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or familial Status (families with children under 18), please click here to report a fair housing incident.
