Residents, families, community groups, faith organizations, schools, and businesses come together for Operation Beautification to participate in a citywide cleaning spree. During this biannual citywide event, neighbors and families work side by side to beautify and clean selected area (alleys, lots, blocks, green spaces, sidewalks) in their neighborhoods.
Join more than 2,500 volunteers who have participated in past Operation Beautification cleanups and collected more than 185 tons of litter and brush. Participation in Operation: Beautification is an easy, low-cost activity for neighbors of all ages to promote neighborhood pride. Volunteers enjoy tangible results with immediate impact. There is no cost to the group for trash collection.
Fall 2018 Operation Beautification will take place on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Registration will open in September 2018.
