When dialing from outside the city limits, call 214-670-3111.

  • Meter leak

  • Fire hydrant leak

  • Clogged or overflowing wastewater main

  • Emergency water turn off 

For billing or account matters, to set up new service or to change service, call Water Customer Service at 214-651-1441 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday) or email WaterSpecialtyUnit@dallas.gov.

For water and sewer service permits or availability of water and sewer mains, call DWU's Permit Section (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday) at 214-948-4480, option​ 4.
