The 2011 Dallas Bike Plan - Bikeway System Progress

On July 29, 2010, the Texas Transportation Commission awarded to the City a TxDOT Statewide Transportation Enhancements Program project, with a total project value of $887,216: Traffic Control and Safety Treatments for Trail-Road Crossings. The project is expected to enhance safety and efficiency at seventy locations where existing trails and roadways intersect. The City is in the process of forming project agreements with TxDOT and Dallas County. Implementation anticipated in the summer of 2011 and 2012.
