Child Health Services

Neighborhood clinics provide health maintenance services, including anticipatory guidance, health screening, growth and development assessment, immunizations, treatment of minor ailments, and appropriate referrals for care to children from birth through aged 10. Charges are on a sliding scale; Medicaid is accepted. Health center locations are as follows:

A - North Dallas Health Center

Mondays 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

D - John West Health Center

Hours of Operation: Tuesday thru Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and the
4th Saturday of each month, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
Mondays 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

In addition, registered nurses, social workers, and community service workers assist low to moderate income pregnant and postpartum women and their infants in gaining access to medical, nutritional, educational, social and other services as needed through home and on-site visits.
