FLAG POLE HILL MASTER PLAN COMMUNITY MEETING 

Please make plans to join us at Gracehill Community Church (8535 Ferndale Rd.) at 6:30pm on Thursday, March 23rd to continue our discussion of the next phase of the Flag Pole Hill Master Plan. ​

Dunway and the Park and Recreation Department will present several enhancement options based on the feedback from the last community meeting. ​

​Join our new City Manager TC Broadnax to kick off our spring budget community engagement meetings. We will discuss the needs of our district, and what we would like to see in next year's budget. In order to ensure the needs of District 10 are heard, we need everyone to come out and make their voice heard. We look forward to seeing you all on Thursday, March 16th at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center from 6:30-8pm.

Join the Dallas City Attorney's Office and our office to discuss community driven solutions to address crime in and near Forest and Audelia. 

Please enter the side doors at Forest Lane Academy for our discussion in the Cafe beginning at 6pm.

PROPOSED 2017 BOND COMMUNITY MEETINGS

City staff will give a short briefing on the proposed 2017 Bond package, and will take constituent comments and questions. These meetings are a continuation of the previous community meetings held in October 2016.

Join us Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 6-7:30pm at the Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet Cafeteria, and on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6-7:30pm at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center.

LAKE HIGHLANDS TRAIL COMMUNITY MEETING 

The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department will host a community meeting on Tuesday, October 25th at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center from 5:45-7pm to discuss the future of the Lake Highlands Trail. JOINT HIGH-SPEED TRAIN COMMUNITY MEETING 

Texas Central will provide information on the proposed, privately developed high-speed train project between Dallas and Houston at Churchill Recreation Center (6906 Churchill Way) from 6:30-7:30pm on Monday, October 10th. Councilmembers Kleinman, Gates, and McGough and City staff will be on hand to receive comment.

October 6th and 12th, 2016 

City staff will help facilitate two community meetings to discuss the 2017 Bond process and city needs inventory. This is a great opportunity to share with City staff and my office the needs of District 10. Let's be certain the needs of District 10 are made a priority.

​DISTRICT 10 QUALITY OF LIFE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTABILITY PLAN 

At the 'State of the District' meeting, I formally announced our ALLinD10 initiative and 10 point accountability plan. The first five points focus on quality of life issues and the last five points are geographical areas of interest. 

​Collectively we have 'Accomplished' quite a lot in the last year and I am excited to work towards our 'Next Steps' in the year to come.
