Council District 7

Carolyn R. Davis
was elected to her first term on the Dallas City Council in May 2007 for Council District 7.
Her leadership style in bringing people together to address the city’s problems is a key reason for her solid support at the polls.

1. Neighborhood preservation and protective zoning
2. Non-profit housing organizations to build safe and sound single family affordable housing for home ownership
3. Programs for persons who are homeless
4. Programs to support our seniors citizens
5. Neighborhood friendly economic development
6. Existing businesses that provide good and safe services
7. New jobs for area residents and increased business ownership
8. Summer job training for our youth
9. Code enforcement, crime prevention and crime control
10. Enhancement of art funding to reflect the diversity of the city.
