Proclamations
A proclamation is a formal declaration of a day/week/month in honor of a special event.

Submit RequestTo prepare a proclamation, the Office of Mayor will need information regarding the event, organization or person for whom the proclamation will be given.
Special Recognitions
A special recognition is a formal document that extends recognition to a person or organization for an accomplishment or contribution to show appreciation for outstanding citizenry in the city of Dallas.

Letters
A letter of greeting or congratulations will be issued for souvenir booklets, conferences, conventions, and seminars or a significant anniversary, birthday, reunion or event.
The information needed is the appropriate title of event, the date, a brief history of the organization or event and any other pertinent information.
