Designated Landmark Structures Fire Station #16 Opened in 1918 in spite of a divisive, city wide firefighters' strike, this little Mission Revival style station served the burgeoning East Dallas neighborhoods of Junius Heights and Lakewood. Designed by important Dallas architect H. A. Overback.
