Sears Complex Historic District

The Sears catalog merchandise center has been a part of Dallas history since 1906. The current complex consists of four buildings built between 1913 and 1921. The entire complex is over one million square feet of useable space. Workers used rollers skates at one point in history to speed up delivery of catalog items. This property is being converted to a mixed use of lofts, hotel, retail and restaurants.
