Dynamic messages displayed on arterial streets will be limited to information on roadway conditions with the exception of an Amber Alert (kidnapped child).
Signs will not display public service announcements, campaigns or advertisements. Signs will not suggest alternate routes. Suggesting a specific route would quickly over saturate that arterial street.
Signs will remain blank or dark if roadway conditions are normal.
Unless an unusual situation related to public safety occurs, the City will display the follow types of roadway condition messages:
