Lake Litter Booms

There are three lake litter booms installed on creeks that feed into area lakes. One boom is on White Rock Lake, one is at Bachman Lake and the third is Lake Cliff. These lake litter booms were installed to collect the floatable trash that flows into these lakes. The removal of floating debris before it reaches White Rock Lake, Bachman Lake and Lake Cliff will provide a clean water resource for the local community.

This project was funded by a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (former Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission) Solid Waste Grant.
