I have a fallen tree in the creek at my home, how do I get it removed?

To report concerns about a creek, call 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, or (214) 670-5111 when dialing from outside the city limits.  A Street Services Supervisor will come out and inspect the creek.  A determination of ownership must be made before this problem can be resolved.  If the creek belongs to the City, you will be advised of a schedule for tree removal.  If the creek is privately owned, the owner(s) will be contacted and asked to remove the tree. Public Works and Transportation, Floodplain Management, is responsible for follow-up and code violation monitoring.

The creek adjacent to my property needs mowing and litter removal. How do I get it cleaned and mowed?

My street is dirty, how do I get it swept?

Street sweeping is only done on major thoroughfares once per month and in the Central Business District weekly.  Secondary thoroughfares and residential streets are not swept.  Questions about street sweeping should be directed to 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, or (214) 670-5111 when dialing from outside the city limits.

There are barricades surrounding a work site on my street, how do I find out when the work will be completed?

To report work activity in your area, call 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, or (214) 670-5111 when dialing from outside the city limits and be as specific as you can about the type work being performed.  If you have identified the agency or company working at the job site, give this information to the customer service operator.  This will assist in getting the request to the appropriate department.

There is a person access (manhole) cover missing in my block and I think the storm water drain is stopped up, how do I get these corrected?

To report a missing cover or stopped up drain, call 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, or (214) 670-5111 when dialing from outside the city limits.  An Emergency response crew from Street Services will be dispatched to the location.

How do I get a new surface put on my street?

To have your street inspected for possible inclusion in one of the street surface improvement programs, call 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, or (214) 670-5111 when dialing from outside the city limits.

Water collects and stands in the street or in the alley after it rains, what should I do?

Report standing water problems to 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, or (214) 670-5111 when dialing from outside the city limits.  A Street Services Supervisor will inspect the location and assess the situation.  You will be contacted and advised of the results of the assessment.
