How to use your recycling roll cart:

Use only city-issued roll carts; no other carts, barrels or bins will be emptied.

To move the roll cart, make certain the lid is closed. Hold the handle and tip the cart back on its wheels before attempting to push or roll it.

Do not drag the roll cart or roll it with the lid open.

On slopes: push the roll cart when going downhill; pull the barrel when going uphill.

To clean the roll cart, use a garden hose to rinse. Cleanliness of the roll cart is the resident's responsibility.

How to put out your recycling roll cart for pickup:

Place recycling roll cart at your collection place no later than 7 a.m. on your pickup day.

Set out roll cart no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before your pickup day.

Important: All items must fit inside the roll cart with the lid closed. Bagged or boxed recyclables placed beside the roll cart will not be collected.

Place roll cart so handle is facing away from the street.

Place cart at least two feet from utility poles, trees, gas or water meters, fire hydrants, cars, sprinkler heads or other items that collection equipment could damage.

Remove roll cart from your collection place no later than midnight on your pickup day.
