​City Cultural Facilities​

The City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs is the custodian of many of our community's most important cultural facilities, where a wide variety of arts and cultural programs are offered for citizens and visitors. The Office of Cultural Affairs operates seven of these facilities directly (Bath House Cultural Center, Dallas City Performance Hall, Latino Cultural Center, Majestic Theatre, Meyerson Symphony Center, Oak Cliff Cultural Center and the South Dallas Cultural Center). Others are managed through private/public partnerships with nonprofit cultural organizations, like the Dallas Museum of Art, African American Museum and Fair Park Music Hall. The City of Dallas Park & Recreation Department oversees the Dallas Zoo and Dallas Arboretum, also important components of the City of Dallas cultural system.
