​Jennifer Phung joined the City of Dallas, Office of the City Auditor, as an assistant auditor in February 2022.  In her role, she executes performance audits in accordance with government auditing standards. Ms. Phung's prior experience includes auditing state sales and use taxes, individual and corporate federal tax returns, and conducting internal audits in the retail and hospitality industries.

 Ms. Phung has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of North Texas.  She is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, and is a member of the following professional organizations: Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA), and Association of Airport Internal Auditors.
