Christopher J. Caso has nearly 30 years of experience in municipal law, managing a legal office and staff, and representing small, medium, and large cities, counties, special purpose districts, water districts, and school districts as city attorney and general counsel. 
 
Serving the City of Dallas since 2005, Mr. Caso has been instrumental in representing the City of Dallas in trial court and appellate litigation on a wide variety of subject matters including zoning and land use, eminent domain, property disputes, inverse condemnation, First Amendment issues, contract claims, constitutional claims, election disputes, Open Records and Open Meeting matters, among many others. In 2016, Mr. Caso became the Managing Attorney, an integral role that has directly improved the efficiency, professionalism, and quality of the City Attorney’s Office. On April 8, 2020, Mr. Caso was appointed the City Attorney after serving as the Interim City Attorney for two years.
