Urban Structure and Guidelines
The Urban Structure and Guidelines represents the input and ideas of over 40 meetings during the course of 18 months. It was developed using a collaborative community-based process under the guidance of the Dallas Citydesign Studio. It is an alternative to traditional local planning tools and represents a shared vision for the area bounded by the Trinity River levee at the North and East, I-30 at the South and Sylvan at the West. Design plays a key role along with the active participation and dialogue with community, stakeholders and civic staff. Click here to view the briefing given to the Dallas City Council in March 2011.

Continental Bridge Western Gateway and Plaza briefing
The conversation of the Continental Bridge to a pedestrian bridge will create a wonderful new amenity for our city. As a pedestrian bridge, ease of pedestrian access is paramount. The original configuration for access to the Continental pedestrian bridge made it difficult for pedestrians and bikers to access the bridge. The Citydesign Studio created a schematic design to allow the community and visitors ease of access. Click here to view the briefing given to the Trinity River Corridor Project Committee.
