  • ​​​​Develop and validate minimum qualifications with the departments for all job classifications
  • Post and advertise jobs for external and internal/promotional recruitment of classified and unclassified positions
  • Evaluate applicants' eligibility based on the defined minimum qualifications for the positions
  • Verify eligibility status for uniformed employees who sign up to take promotional examinations
  • Administer written exams for civilian and uniform positions, where applicable
  • Provide requesting departments with lists of eligible applicants (register)  to assist them with their recruiting needs
  • Ensure compliance with Civil Service Rules during a Reduction-in-Force initiative
  • Manage the requisition-to-hire process in the NEOGOV system
