Code Compliance Compliance is divided into seven (7) Community Code Districts with offices located throughout the City of Dallas. Code Enforcement Officers provide for the safety, health, and welfare of residents living and working in neighborhoods throughout the City of Dallas through enforcement of building, zoning, housing, environmental, nuisance, and other codes and ordinances. Complaints are addressed proactively and by service requests made in the City’s 3-1-1 system by citizens.
