About Love Your Block

Love your block is a resident -led grant program that supports neighborhood revitalization projects in cities across the united states.

From transforming vacant lots into community gardens to organizing cleanups, installing public art, and making small neighborhood improvements, the program empowers residents to improve the places they call home.

Love Your Block is supported by the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University, which works with local governments to unlock the insight, talent, and energy of residents to drive meaningful community change.

Since launching in 2009, Love Your Block has engaged more than 50,000 community members, improved nearly 4,000 public spaces, removed 6.7 million pounds of trash, and supported projects in 50 U.S. cities across 33 states.
