After consultation with the Dallas Police Chief and City Council, Dallas City Manager T.C. Broadnax signed an order lifting the curfew in central Dallas effective Saturday, June 6, 2020. The orders to implement a curfew followed Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson’s declarations of a State of Disaster on Sunday, May 31.
