El Tribunal Municipal ha cancelado el Servicio de Jurado hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2020.

Jury Duty

Starting October 1, the City of Dallas Municipal Court will resume Jury service virtually.  This important change will allow Jury service to be held without the need for its residents to physically appear at the Courthouse. Virtual Jury Service will be held via a video conference through the use of Microsoft Teams either on your computer or wireless device.

Jurors will have either a 9 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. report time.  If a jury panel is not needed and/or you were not chosen to serve on a jury panel, you will most likely be dismissed within a couple of hours. Jurors selected to be on a panel will be required to serve for the duration of a trial.

Virtual Jury Service Requirements:

  • A device that can access a fast and stable internet connection (PC, MAC, Smart Phone, Tablet, etc.);
  • A webcam or a built-in camera on your device that will allow the Court to see you at all times during the virtual hearing;
  • The device must have a microphone connected that will allow you to talk to the Court, and that will allow you to hear what the Court is saying to you;
  • You must have a valid email address;

I thought I had jury duty with the City of Dallas but was told I do not. Where do I have jury duty?
