On November 7, 2017 City of Dallas voters approved Proposition J, a $20 million bond to fund transitional and permanent supportive housing to target chronic homelessness, rapid rehousing for the elderly, disabled and families with children and day centers for seamless wrap-around services.

Creation of 1,000 housing units over the next 3 to 5 years
Creation of Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) criteria in partnership with Citizen Homelessness Commission
Coordinate with the Dallas Area Partnership to Prevent and End Homelessness to identify private investment strategies
