About the CHP:
The City of Dallas Comprehensive Housing Policy provides a framework for public investments in the development and preservation of mixed-income housing. Through a series of programs and financial tools that change with market conditions and policy priorities, Dallas works to achieve three goals:
Dallas City Council adopted the current Comprehensive Housing Policy on October 13, 2021. In working towards the next iteration of the policy, Dallas is using an equity lens informed by a Racial Equity Assessment of the policy.
