The Department of Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization provides various forms of funding to non-profit and for-profit developers. The primary purpose of our funding is to provide gap financing to support new construction of housing units or the substantial redevelopment of existing housing units. When such funding is available, we will issue a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). A link to any open NOFAs will be added to this webpage, as well as to our homepage.
We encourage developers to become familiar with our programs and guidelines prior to applying for funding through a NOFA. Links to our development policy and underwriting guidelines are below.
We also encourage you to meet with a member of our Area Redevelopment Teams early in your project planning process, so that we can discuss how your project can align with the City's housing priorities.
