​Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO)

Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO) are certified nonprofits that produce affordable housing in partnership with the City. The City provides various forms of financing as grants and loans, including construction subsidy, gap financing, predevelopment assistance and operating assistance.

Community-Based Development Organizations (CBDO)

Community-Based Development Organizations (CBDOs) are certified non-profit and for-profit developers that carry out neighborhood revitalization, community economic development, or energy conservation projects within an identified geographic area. 

CBDO certifications are no longer accepted on an ongoing basis. Applications are accepted in conjunction with a project proposal. The application process will coincide with the NOFA postings. Please check back periodically for future opportunities.
