The OIG is comprised of attorneys, investigators, and support staff with the collective skills and mindset to meet our mission. They share a passion for serving the residents of Dallas as a watchdog for ethical city government. This diverse group of specialized individuals is integral to the OIG’s mission. The distinctive backgrounds of our team members add perspective and depth to each investigation. The OIG team is uniquely qualified with professional certifications including Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Fraud Specialist (CFS), and Certified Inspector General (CIG). After staffing is completed, the OIG’s team will consist of four attorneys, six investigators, and three support staff.

    Investigators

    The OIG investigators are an accomplished group with a diverse range of backgrounds including local, state, and federal law and administrative enforcement. Collectively, they bring over 100 years of investigative expertise to bear. Their shared passion is to get to the truth on behalf of the residents of Dallas.

    Administrators

    The OIG has three administrative support staff. They come to the City from corporate, non-profit, and law enforcement entities. They bring over 60 years of combined experience to the team. Our administrative staff members have a passion for serving and partnering to uphold the standards of the Code of Ethics.
