​​The mission of the Community Police Oversight Board (CPOB) is to enhance the public’s trust that complaints of misconduct against departmental employees are conducted fairly and thoroughly, are transparent, and ensure that the City of Dallas residents have an accessible means to the complaint process.

Public Comment at CPOB Meetings

The Community Police Oversight Board (CPOB) holds its public working meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Dallas City Hall, 1500 Marilla Street, Dallas, TX 75201. Meetings are open to the public.

How to Participate

If you would like to speak during the public comment period, please sign up using the link below and check in with OCPO staff when you arrive. Speakers are allotted up to 3 minutes, though time may be adjusted depending on the number of participants.No sign-up is required for the second public comment session at the end of the meeting.

Guidelines for Public Comment

• ​Comments must relate to items on the agenda or matters within the Board's jurisdiction.
• Personal attacks, threats, profanity, or off-topic remarks are not permitted.
• Speakers may not direct comments at individuals.
• Disruptive behavior may result in loss of speaking time or removal from the meeting.
