The Transparency and Accountability Dashboard is a public-facing resource designed to enhance transparency and build trust with Dallas residents. It provides a comprehensive overview of external administrative complaints filed with the Office of Community Police Oversight and the Dallas Police Department, offering insights into complaint types, complainant demographics, resolution outcomes, and commendations received by DPD officers.

This tool enables users to easily view the community complaint and officer commendation data, including complainant demographics such as age, gender, and race, as well as the status and progression of complaints throughout the investigative process. It further features an interactive monthly trend chart, complaint intake summaries, and a map illustrating complaint data categorized by council district, patrol division, and zip code. Additionally, the dashboard offers customizable filters for viewing complaint resolutions and allows users access to definitions and additional information regarding the metrics via hover-over features on the information icons throughout the dashboard. Collectively, these features facilitate easy access and comprehension of the complaint data.
