Hazard Mitigation Action Plan

DCH Body
Page Content

The City of Dallas Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (HazMAP) aims to document and analyze the City of Dallas’ vulnerability to natural and man-made risks and hazards to reduce their impacts on life and property within the City. This plan assumes that each hazard could occur at least once within the next ten (10) years.

The HazMAP identifies hazards, analyzes vulnerability to those hazards, and identifies projects that aim to reduce the impact of the described hazards over the five-year life of the plan.

The City of Dallas encourages the public to participate in the planning process by providing feedback on the HazMAP; a copy  is located below. We invite you to submit feedback about the HazMAP via the link below. Thank you for your valuable input and participation in the planning process!
