​​Safety and Loss Control Program

The Safety Team provides expertise in a variety of loss prevention functions such as inspections, training, safety programs/procedures, investigations, audits, appeals, driver safety and risk reporting. The Safety Team assists departments to evaluate, develop and implement practices and procedures to remove unacceptable risk in an effective, consistent and timely manner.

The City of Dallas is aggressively becoming 18001 certified to control risks, improve performance and minimize exposure to financial loss.
