​FY 2026-27 Proposed rate changes​

The FY 2026-27 City Manager’s Recommended Budget includes revenue projections supported by the proposed Sanitation fee adjustments listed below. These adjustments are necessary to fund the continued operation of the City’s solid waste management utility.

Among the proposed changes is a tiered residential rate structure establishing separate rates for curbside and alley service, effective February 1, 2027. This approach will better align customer rates with the cost of providing each service type and reduce the alley-related costs currently included in rates paid by approximately 160,000 curbside customers.
