Household Hazardous Waste

Household Hazardous Wastes (HHW) are chemicals which could cause harm to the environment if they are thrown into your garbage roll cart, poured down the drain or storm sewer, illegally dumped, or stored incorrectly. When you are finished using these types of products around your home, please take them to the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center for reuse or proper disposal. Several hardware stores and auto parts retailers will accept fluorescent bulbs or batteries. To see if there is a location next to you, click here.

The City also offers special HHW drop-off events at various times and locations around the City.  Check back to this site for updated information on events as it becomes available.
