City Hotel
Built in 1892, this structure is thought to be the oldest existing hotel in Dallas and exhibits the original cast iron columns, brick work, storefront windows, and ten-light wood transoms. The structure was build as the City Hotel and Mechanics Hall Saloon, and was probably run more as a boarding house renting rooms to laborers and long term guests.
