​Belmont Addition - CD No. 12

On January 10, 2019, a neighborhood committee (10 property owners) submitted a request for pre-application meetings to begin the process of potentially amending regulations in CD No. 12, the Belmont Addition Conservation District.

On December 10, 2020 the neighborhood committee returned the signed petitions of 75% of the lots in the Belmont Addition to the Sustainable Development and Construction Department. City staff has verified the petitions and is working to schedule the first Community Meeting.

The Sustainable Development and Construction Department held two pre-application meetings on March 20, 2019 and July 23, 2019 to inform property owners of the process to amend a conservation district and to discuss and establish a general list of development and architectural standards the neighborhood would consider amending.

Following the two pre-application meetings, staff provided the neighborhood committee with petitions containing language about the development and architectural standards the neighborhood would like to potentially amend. The neighborhood committee is tasked with gathering signed petitions of at least 58% of property owners in the Belmont Addition CD to start an application to potentially amend the CD.  Petition Language
