Project Overview

The Dallas Department of Transportation and Public Works (TPW) is studying the Ferguson Road corridor between Interstates 30 and 635 in east Dallas. The purpose of the study is to identify improvements that will advance mobility and safety for all modes of transportation along Ferguson Road, and will prioritize those improvement projects for near- and long-term completion.

The Ferguson Road study includes two segments: (1) Ferguson Road between Interstate 30 and Loop 12; and (2) Ferguson Road between Loop 12 and Interstate 635.

The project has three main phases: (1) to assess existing conditions; (2) to analyze alternative designs for the corridor; and (3) to finalize recommended transportation improvements.

The study is in its third phase.
