6/15/21- Installation of delineators at Mockingbird and McMillan

In efforts to improve safety for cyclists, pedestrians and drivers, the Dallas Department of Transportation installed vertical delineators at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and McMillan Avenue.  Vertical delineators are intended to warn of an approaching curve and provide better appreciation for the sharpness of a curve.

6/10/21- Opening of McDermott Bridge bike and pedestrian bridges

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on June 10, 2021 to celebrate the opening of eastbound and westbound pedestrian and bicycle bridges on the Margaret McDermott Bridge. These non-vehicular bridges will provide access over the Trinity River and DDOT will play a role in maintaining them.
