​The Dallas Department of Transportation (DDOT) is studying a portion of the Mountain Creek Parkway corridor in southwest Dallas.

The purpose of the study is to identify improvements that will advance mobility and safety for all modes of transportation along Mountain Creek Parkway. The study will identify transportation improvement projects that will be prioritized for near-term and long-term completion.

Project Scope

This study area includes: 

(1) Mountain Creek Parkway between IH 20 and Clark Road (Dallas City Limits)

The project has three main phases:

(1) assess existing conditions for the corridor;
(2) analyze existing deficiencies and issues and identify measures to address them;
(3) present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and solicit input to finalize recommended measures.

The study is in its third phase.

Study results were presented during a public meeting on Aug. 6, 2024, at Mountain Creek Branch Library.
