Assesses the department's progress toward strategic objectives using data-driven performance metrics. Also responsible for department administration and communications.  Manages parking-related contracts and parking enforcement options.

Engineering Design and Construction

Includes Engineering Design, Construction Management and Inspection, ROW Management, Survey, Pavement and Bridge Infrastructure Management, Sidewalk Program, and Major Street Repairs.

Interagency & Business Operations

Includes Agenda Development & Coordination, GIS and Data Processing, High Speed Rail; Railroad Coordination; Trinity River/LGC, Interagency Grant and Project Management, Professional, Architectural & Engineering Procurement Services, and Public Information & Outreach.

Street Maintenance and Operations

Includes Street and Alley Maintenance, Clean Sweep, TxDOT and City ROW Maintenance, Roadside Drainage, and Urban Forestry and Surplus Property Mowing.

​Traffic Engineering and Operations

Manages traffic engineering and operation functions, including signalization and signage, street lighting, traffic calming studies, program/project management, and related initiatives.

Transportation Planning

Responsible for developing comprehensive plans for transportation needs. This division manages the City's Strategic Mobility Plan, Thoroughfare Plan, Bikeway System, Vision Zero and other related long-range planning initiatives.​
