Project Summary

The North Haskell Avenue Project will involve street pavement, curb, and sidewalk reconstruction on 2500-2800 blocks of North Haskell Avenue, from North Central Expressway Frontage Road (Interstate 75) to Capitol Avenue.

Construction on the project will begin on Monday, October 28, 2025, and is estimated to be completed by late January 2026, weather and other delays permitting. The construction work will be done in two phases, with Phase 1 slated for completion on or before the week of November 24, and Phase 2 lasting until the project completion date.

​Traffic Impact

​​Multiple lanes of travel will be shut down to one lane for several weeks during Phase 1 as part of ongoing reconstruction work in the area. Residents are advised to seek detours in the area as traffic along North Haskell Avenue in the project area will be significantly impacted.
