​The Minor Plumbing Repair Program (MPRP) aims to reduce water waste and high water bills by offering free assistance with minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacement to low-income customers. Plumbing problems that qualify include leaking toilets, faucets and showerheads; outdoor hose bib leaks; and easily accessible pipe joint leaks.

DWU customers who are homeowners and reside on their property and who meet the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development low-income guidelines are eligible for this program. Wastewater and sewer problems, work required under the house or behind the walls and underground leaks are not included. Repairs are made on a first-come, first-served basis. The program is not designed to respond to emergency repairs.
