DWU provides financial assistance to eligible customers through the Operation WaterShare program. Customers can determine their eligibility for financial assistance by calling one of the offices listed below to schedule an appointment.

​Customers with questions regarding their water bill may contact DWU Customer Service at 214-651-1441, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. 

​DWU customers can easily make donations to Operation WaterShare by simply adding a tax-deductible donation to their mailed water bill statement or when they pay online at dallas.gov/DallasGo.  Donations can also be made by check and mailed to:

​Other Customer Assistance Programs​

Minor Plumbing Repair Program (MPR)

The Minor Plumbing Repair Program (MPR) aims to reduce water waste and high water bills by offering free assistance with minor plumbing repairs and fixture replacement to low-income customers. Plumbing problems that qualify include leaking toilets, faucets and showerheads; outdoor hose bib leaks; and easily accessible pipe joint leaks.

DWU customers who are homeowners and reside on their property and who meet the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development low-income guidelines are eligible for this program.

Wastewater and sewer problems, work required under the house or behind the walls and underground leaks are not included. Repairs are made on a first-come, first-served basis. The program is not designed to respond to emergency repairs. For further information or to apply, please call 214-671-8083.
