Angela Randall, Configuration Trainer, is responsible for creating and delivering SAP training to multiple departments across the City, assisting with user acceptance testing for system upgrades and enhancements and providing training support on technical issues. Prior to joining the City, Angela worked in higher education and was a graduate employment specialist where she prepared college students for the workplace.

Her experience in SAP and education attracted her to the City’s SAP training team.

A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Angela moved to Dallas in the mid-90s where she attended the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a bachelor’s degree in university studies.  Angela is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

She is delighted to have joined the City of Dallas, and said, “I have gained a sense of pride and responsibility for my community, which can now solidify me as a true ‘Dallasite.’ I am excited about my future here! “

In her spare time, she enjoys music, camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

“I also enjoy reading and catching up on news”, she said.

Venkata Durgi is a new SAP  Configuration Coordinator

Venkata Durgi comes to the department with expertise from Fortune 500 companies including Apple, Nike and Hanes.  Most recently, he was a senior SAP Analyst in the materials management and sales and distribution modules at Neovia Logistics.  With over 11 years of experience, he got his start in SAP by working on the Glaxo Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals sales team.  He currently works as a Configuration Coordinator in the Business Consulting Division of Dallas Water Utilities on the Business Analysis and Support team.

By joining the City of Dallas, Venkata says it is a great opportunity to work in the Industry Specific Solution for Utilities space.

Venkata grew up in Khammam, India, known for its history and cultural richness.  Located on the Munneru River banks, the 1000-year old Khamman Fort is a major tourist attraction.  Venkata completed his master’s in science from Tellakula Jalayya Polisetty Somasundaram College in Guntur, India.
