2021 Winter Storm URI

Draft Action Plan For Disaster Recovery

Winter Storm Uri struck Texas in February 2021. The ultra-low temperatures caused dangerous travel conditions and widespread electricity and water outages throughout the state, impacting residents, homes, businesses, and infrastructure. As a result the storm was declared a major disaster on February 19, 2021 (DR-4586).
