The Business Operations division has four sections: Finance, Procurement/Warehouse, Utility Billing, and Compliance. The division manages the department's accounting, budget, accounts payable, and billing functions. Additionally, the division manages the department's procurement lifecycle, including specifications, bids, proposals, contract monitoring and closeout, and disposal.
Utility billing manages the City's electricity contract, including budget recommendations, bill reconciliation, and service connections.
Compliance coordinates and manages the department's contract compliance; Asbestos, Mold, and other hazardous substance removal and abatement; as well as Building Services' Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems including safety and environmental awareness training.
