The City of Dallas Code Compliance Department consists of three divisions: Neighborhood Code, Nuisance Abatement, and Consumer Health. Code Compliance ensures city codes, and ordinances are maintained, so Dallas continues to be a clean and safe city.



​2026 MPO Pool Operation Class Schedule Now Availabl​​e 

 

Chapter 43A of the Dallas City Code requires all pool and spa facilities to have a certified Manager of Operations. Certifications must be renewed every two (2) years. All certification courses are provided by the Department of Code Compliance. 

To register for a class, please complete and submit the enclosed Manager of Pool Operations – Class Registration Form to the Department of Code Compliance. Be sure to indicate your preferred class date on the form. A separate registration form is required for each individual attending. 

The registration fee is $50.00 per person for both City of Dallas residents and non-residents. Please submit your completed registration form along with a check or money order made payable to the City of Dallas. 

Payments must be made in person or mailed to:

Payments will not be accepted at the class. All registration fees are non-refundable. 

To cancel or substitute a registration, you must notify Code Compliance staff by phone at (2​14) 671-2791 at least three (3) business days prior to your scheduled class. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of payment. 

Spanish-language instruction is available on designated dates. All classes are held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

How to Report a Code Violation

To report Code Compliance violations, dial 3-1-1 when dialing from inside the city limits, and (214) 670-3111 when calling from outside the city limits.
