Lethal doses of Fentanyl have been found in counterfeit medication, meth, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana.

Fentanyl overdoes are an alarming trend, and a new City of Dallas program is working to combat that. The Overdose Response Team, or O-R-T, is a partnership between Recovery Resource Council and Dallas Fire & Rescue Department. The O.R.T. team will conduct follow up visits with clients who are struggling with substance use and have recently experienced an overdose requiring transport to a hospital or 911 call.
